At this free workshop, participants will learn how to sustainably use and incorporate native plants that are crucial for providing food and habitat for wildlife for Appalachian and Piedmont gardens and landscapes to your home farm or garden. This workshop will also include suggestions for attracting pollinators and beneficial insects for biological control.
What to Expect: This workshop will take place outside; please come prepared for the weather. There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the workshop ends at noon.
What to Bring: Bring a water bottle and any snacks you might want. If you would like to sit during any point of the workshop, please bring a lawn chair.
